A belated introduction.

A few years ago, I switched from full-time General Management roles to start SHOW BUSINESS and manage operations (i.e., back-of-house) support for independent brands and studios.

I wanted to dig into the components that I felt made for good work: alignment, functional processes and information sharing. Working independently offered this focus while giving me flexibility with my time and the chance to work with a variety of clients and projects.

In the early days of SHOW BUSINESS, I didn't have a clearly defined service offering. This was partly because my new mode of work got underway organically and the type of work I was doing required me to hop in where most needed across different functions. This generalist approach was fun and offered versatility and range, but was hard to explain in a nutshell.

Since then, I have thought a lot about how to distill my service offer into an easy-to-understand format. Along the way, I’ve tried and tested, consolidated and simplified, based on what I’ve found works best.

What I came up with is a methodology based on components that identify, plan and deliver work. These are frameworks, workflows, tools and templates. Within these brackets are specific actions that support the development process of goods and services from concept to market.

The result is a kind of modular service menu where clients can select one or more items to focus on, based on the pace, scale, goals and level of support they feel are most impactful.

Check out the full services offer HERE.

If what’s on the services docket feels right for you, the next step is to tee up a free, no-obligation conversation so I can understand what you need a hand with and share how I may be able to help. And if you’re unsure or have questions, a conversation is always welcome. I love hearing from people and am happy to make recommendations or be helpful in whatever way I can.

EMAIL me to tee up a chat.
